Don and Dee Snyder

Don and Dee Snyder have been recognized for their philanthropic work throughout our community. Their involvement with UNLV spans decades; they have served as philanthropists and outstanding volunteers.

Don’s service on the UNLV Foundation Board of Trustees, including serving as chairman of the Board for five years, chairing and participating on a number of committees, and serving as co-chair of the comprehensive Invent the Future fundraising campaign, helped to bring new support for the university and strengthen existing partnerships. Don worked diligently to advance the capital campaign and bring it to a successful conclusion.

The Snyders’ philanthropic contributions include providing funds for emerging projects on campus that supplement students’ academic experience. These funds provide scholarships, unparalleled travel opportunities, and unique learning experiences for students at all levels of their education.

Their support for campus programs, including the Jean Nidetch Women’s Center, the UNLV Foundation Building Fund, and myriad other campus programs extends the reach of their impact to students, faculty, and staff, all of whom benefit from their continued generosity.
