National Security Technologies, LLC
In its time, National Security Technologies, LLC (NSTec) was committed to responsible corporate citizenship, and UNLV was a strong case-in-point. In 2011, the company marked five years of robust support for science and engineering programs at UNLV, including the FIRST Robotics competition, the Multi-Cultural Program Engineering Scholarship, the UNLV Science Bowl, the Science and Engineering Complex building fund, and more. The National Security Technologies, LLC Courtyard at the Science and Engineering Building is named in recognition of their contributions.
NSTec was formed in 2005 as a joint venture between Northrop Grumman Corporation, AECOM, CH2M Hill, and Nuclear Fuel Services. Its missions included defense experimentation and stockpile stewardship, homeland security and defense applications, and environmental management.
