Southwest Gas Corporation

Southwest Gas Corporation has been a donor to UNLV since 1986. In 2007, the company made a significant commitment to the Science and Engineering Building, the most recent in a series of investments in programs and activities throughout UNLV. Over the years, Southwest Gas had supported the Academic Corporate Council, the Dean’s Associates Program, the Nevada Business Hall of Fame, the Senior Design Dinner in Engineering, the Minority Engineering Program, scholarships, Lied Real Estate Endowment, the Southwest Gas Distinguished Artist, the Center for Economic Education, Athletic scholarships, and the Charles H. McCrea Scholarship Endowment.

Southwest Gas Corporation’s philanthropy program played a leading role in the Las Vegas community through their dedication to strengthening organizations in areas where their employees live and work, including Arizona, Nevada, and portions of California.
