Stan Fulton
Stan Fulton has been a dedicated supporter of UNLV, its students, and its academic and community initiatives. Stan is widely recognized as a pioneering entrepreneur and slot machine developer. His business enterprises have helped the Southern Nevada region and its residents grow and prosper, and in turn his philanthropy has helped UNLV to thrive as well.
Through his gifts to fund the Stan Fulton Scholarship Endowment, as well as his major contributions to the Rebel Athletic Fund Scholarships and to the Dee Smith Scholarship Endowment, Stan has helped many deserving individuals pursue their goals of a college education.
Another impactful way in which he has advanced UNLV’s standing as one of the nation’s leading higher education institutions is through his gift to build the Stan Fulton Building—the epicenter for the William F. Harrah College of Hospitality. This facility serves as a living laboratory where hospitality students learn how to manage full-service catering and conference activities.
In addition, Mr. Fulton’s ongoing support of the International Gaming Institute (IGI) Program Fund provides educational opportunities for both gaming regulators and individuals working in the gaming industry. His contributions afford IGI faculty the ability to train individuals from gaming jurisdictions in the United States and around the world.
In 2009, Stan Fulton was honored as a Diamond member of the Palladium Society, or a donor who has contributed a cumulative of $10 million or more to UNLV.
