Station Casinos

Station Casinos, Inc.’s long-standing relationship with UNLV focused on two objectives: providing a path for students to attend the university and giving them the opportunities they need to have a rewarding, successful college experience. Through many of its properties—including Palace Station, Green Valley Ranch, Texas Station, Fiesta Station, Sunset Station, Boulder Station, and Santa Fe Station—Station Casinos, Inc. invested in scholarships for its employees and their family members, and provided resources for myriad UNLV programs, including the Lied Institute for Real Estate Studies, the Thomas and Mack Legal Clinic, KUNV, the Nevada Business Hall of Fame, the Rebel Athletic Fund, fine arts programming, and the Annual Fund.

Most notably, Station Casinos, Inc. funded several core initiatives that  promoted opportunities for students in the William F. Harrah College of Hospitality. The Station Casinos Inc. Minority Recruitment Fund supported the college’s outreach efforts to successfully recruit and retain minority students, including travel to career fairs and the costs of producing promotional materials. Additionally, Station Casinos, Inc. supported many of those students’ successes at UNLV through the 12 academic scholarships, which were given annually to hospitality students.
