Tririga
Las Vegas-based TRIRIGA Inc., founded by UNLV alumnus Anthony Marnell III ’98, was a global leader in integrated workplace management systems. The company was later acquired by IBM. But as TRIRIGA’s Chairman, Anthony brought the company and the William F. Harrah College of Hospitality together through a $2.7 million gift of enterprise software and services.
The college used TRIRIGA’s products to educate faculty and students about the company’s enterprise software and how it applied to the hospitality industry, including the management of hotels, resorts, and event centers. They also learned about resources supporting environmental sustainability—an ongoing area of focus for the industry’s future.
TRIRIGA’s donation was a platform upon which hospitality students learned the industry standard for workplace management of people, processes, and partners, as well as solutions that centralized and coordinated the management of workplace locations, assets, and services. They also learned how to work within a consolidated environment for decision-making, support, and utilization of space occupancy, real estate, and operations and maintenance.
