Mark L. & Gloria Fine

Mark L. Fine is the president of Mark L. Fine & Associates, one of Southern Nevada’s preeminent real estate developers. In 1968, he started his career with Chemical Bank in New York City and later helped manage real estate assets for Loeb/Rhoades & Company, a major Wall Street investment banking company. He moved to Las Vegas in 1973.

As the president of American Nevada, he guided the development of Green Valley for 17 years, Las Vegas’s first large-scale master-planned community. During his tenure, Green Valley was rated the nation’s fastest-growing community. Mark also served as president of the Summerlin division of Howard Hughes Corp., helping to launch that master-planned community in 1991.

In 2005, along with his son, Jeffrey, Mark started Fine Properties, focusing on unique, high-end retail and office projects. Their projects include: Hills Center North Business Park, Canyon Pointe Shops, Gardens Plaza Retail and Business Park and the 400,000 square-foot Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Headquarters.

In 2014, he was inducted into the Lee Business School Hall of Fame. Mark has served as a Trustee of the UNLV Foundation for more than 30 years and served as its chairman and real estate chair. He also served as a member and former chairman of the UNLV Research Foundation Board of Directors. He is a donor to the UNLV Annual Fund and supported a full scholarship in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV. In 2017, he gifted property in the medical district, which became an outpatient clinic.
