Hospitality architecture and interiors firm Klai Juba Wald celebrated its 24th year in 2020. UNLV has been the beneficiary of their philosophy of nurturing enduring relationships while providing vision, leadership, and support to architectural education and practice across the region.
Klai Juba Wald has provided scholarships and internships, and has sponsored its namesake lecture series for the UNLV School of Architecture since 1997. The firm has also been a dedicated supporter of UNLV Athletics, and proudly served as architect of record for the UNLV Fertitta Football Complex.
Every day, Klai Juba Wald’s award-winning team creates design excellence for integrated mixed-use gaming resorts, retail, dining, entertainment, sports, and convention/trade show venues. They take pride in their collaborative design teams, each committed to listening, sharing expertise, and ensuring operational acumen to shape projects that are both highly successful and acclaimed.
Collectively, Klai Juba Wald principals have 200-plus years of history participating in the evolution and reinvention of Las Vegas and the hospitality industry, playing leadership roles in design, development, construction, ownership, and operations on many of the city’s icons. The firm led the design of Mandalay Bay and served major remodel and expansion projects at MGM Grand Las Vegas, Luxor, Orleans, Planet Hollywood, and the Palms Casino Resort, among others.
